Did you go to the screening of MY BIG GAY ITALIAN WEDDING on Closing Night of this year’s festival? Well, we’re bringing it back to Spotlight Theatres for a special FREE screening in conjunction with Hartford PRIDE! (And we promise there won’t be any issues with the subtitles!)

Synopsis: Antonio and Paolo live happily together in Berlin and decide to get married in the small Italian village where Antonio was raised. His mother immediately accepts the situation, as long as her demands are met: Paolo’s mother (who rejects Paolo for being gay) must attend the wedding; a famous wedding planner must oversee all the arrangements; and the marriage must be celebrated by her husband, Roberto – the mayor of the town, who preaches tolerance and acceptance of all people but gay people. Will everyone in this madcap escapade live happily ever after?
